Client: Posh Graffiti

Challenge

Emily Readett-Bailey’s handcarved, wooden letters and symbols are the original POSH Graffiti™. The company supplies many shops with Posh Graffiti, including Blooming Marvellous, Fenwicks, Graham & Green, Harrods, Jo Jo Mama Bebe and Linda Barker. The letters are much in favour with interior designers and stylists for shoots.  It was important to communicate both the shopping facility and the character of the company, and Spinnaker’s unusual combination of technical capability and creative talent allowed this to happen.

Process

The site is built using Spinnaker’s own tried and tested Flexisite web platform, which allows Emily Readett-Bailey’s staff to monitor and progress orders including secure credit card transactions, remove and upload products, save data on purchasers and email them with special offers and new product; even to create updated news and upload photographs. One of the most time consuming elements of the site was photographing and photoshopping every single letter and decoration – around 1,000 in total. The webstore, which is fully transactional, allows visitors to create their own words and statements using a java script and ajax ‘Graffiti Wall’ which stores their selections and allows them to buy direct. Additionally users can scroll through every alphabet style in every size, letter by letter or as a group.
